L. Bailey currently works at Natchitoches Central High School as the Senior Army Instructor with the Junior ROTC program. As the Program Director he focuses instruction to provide an environment that challenges young adults to become better citizens. His daily duties include planning, preparing and executing instruction as well as mentoring cocurricular teams such as rifle team Prior to taking the SAI position at NCHS, he held the same position at Rio Grande City High.

I am Thomas James Carter Jr. and I am 17 years old. I was born on August 10, 2005, at 4:30 pm to Yalonda Javonna Coleman Allen and Thomas James Fowler Carter Sr. in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I attend Natchitoches Central High School and am currently a senior. While attending Natchitoches Central I have participated in JROTC, Band, Powerlifting, Beta , Leo, and Natchitoches TRIO Upward Bound. I was inducted into the National Honor Society.
